20th Annual Rosary Procession & Catholic Organisations’ Fair

For the past 23 years, the Legion of Mary in Belfast has been orchestrating the solemn Rosary Procession at the Heart of West Belfast, with only a brief interruption due to the pandemic.

As we mark our 20th edition this year, we embark on a daring journey to set the tone for the future. This event transcends being only a Rosary Procession; it now evolves into Our Lady’s Rosary Festival, a venture that aspires to rank among the greatest Catholic events on the entire island of Ireland.

In line with this vision, we have replaced the customary route from St John’s/St Michael’s Parish to St John’s/St Peter’s Cathedral.

Recognizing the diverse needs of our participants, we are thrilled to introduce bus shuttles from St Peter’s to St Jonh’s BEFORE THE PROCESSION take place from 12.30pm to 2.15pm.

We have also decided to make a special appeal to other organisations to join in on our celebration where we have the opportunity not only to demonstrate publicly and together our Catholic Faith but also to be able to promote our own initiatives and that is why we added to the Rosary Procession the Catholic Organisations’ Fair.

This Catholic Organisation’s Fair will take place immediately after the Benediction in St Comgall’s Hall adjacent to St Peter’s Cathedral.
