Our Lady Help of Christians

This is St Paul’s Catholic Church, Cavendish Street, off Falls Road, opposite the Royal Hospital.

Our praesidium, Our Lady Help of Christians, meets in the Pastoral Centre every Tuesday Evening at 8pm. Our work comprises home to home visitation, the distribution of statues of Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Graces.

Also included in our work are the distribution of Miraculous medals, Divine Mercy pamphlets, rosary beads, explanation of the rosary and the praying of the rosary with those visited (when time allows and if they are willing to do). Work is carried out in pairs with the intention of sharing our faith with those visited. They can keep the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mother for a week, praying with their families.

We are five in the praesidium, of which, four are active. It is our objective to double the size of the number in our praesidium by December 2023. If you are interested in joining, or at least curious about it, come along on any Tuesday night just before 8pm and you would be very welcome.
