Mary Mother of the Church Praesidium

Meeting is held every Tuesday at 7.30pm in the church of St. Colman, Derriaghy parish.

Our duties consist of:

–Visitation of nursing homes in Derriaghy and St. Anne’s parishes. Two parishioners suffering from bereavement who are alone and feeling very vulnerable.

–Children’ Rosary Group held every week with children from St. Colman’s primary school.

–Fatima Statue Visitation – 4 Fatima Statues for visitation to homes in Derriaghy and St. Anne’s parish.

–Street Apostolate – Monthly Street Apostolate outside St. Mary’s Chapel Lane.

–School Visitation – 3 Fatima Statues to the St. Colman’s school in May.

–Promotion of the Rosary – A Rosary stand in the porch of St. Anne’s and Derriaghy churches with leaflets, booklets, rosaries, colouring in pictures for children,

–Sacred Heart Promotion – In June Sacred Heart Pictures for St. Coleman’s and St. Anne’s churches are distributed.
