Our Lady of Good Counsel Praesidium Downpatrick

Our Lady of Good Counsel Praesidium Downpatrick meets weekly on Tuesday’s at 1:00pm in the Parochial House, St. Patrick’s Church, 54 St. Patrick’s Avenue, Downpatrick BT30 6DN. If you are interested in joining or would like to find out more about the work we do in our Parish, you are most welcome to join us any Tuesday afternoon at 1:00pm.

Time of meeting: 1:00pm every Tuesday in Parochial House

Each legionary carries out one duty each week in addition to their attendance at the weekly meeting. Some of the duties we currently undertake are as follows:

· Fatima Statue Visitation – Promote Family Prayer/Rosary

· Hospital Visitation – Visiting the Sick

· Door to Door Visitation promoting Mass & Confession times

· Visits to the Residential Nursing Homes

· All Duties done in Pairs

· Legionaries Volunteer to Work at the Legion Stand Saturdays/Street Contact

Membership of the Legion of Mary is a great way to develop and strengthen our Catholic Faith and the desire to share the Good News with everyone.
