Our Lady of Good Counsel Praesidium

We meet every Monday at 8pm until 9.30pm in the hall of The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at Fortwilliam – 577 Antrim Rd, Belfast BT15 3BU

Our duties consist of:

• Home to Home visitation – with gifting of Miraculous Medals & leaflets, Rosary beads, prayer cards. Placing the Legions Statues of our Lady in homes for periods of time
• Attending the Saturday Stall at St Mary’s chapel – chapel Lane and Saturday Rosary at the Grotto 1.45pm
• Weekly Rosary every Thursday at 7.30pm at the Grotto of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Duncairn Parade – North Belfast
• Contacting primary schools withing the parishes to establish the Holy Rosary, supplying blessed Rosary Beads, Rosay prayer cards and Miraculous Medals and an offer to help with the daily/weekly rosaries within the school’s premises.

Our role in the Praesidium of Our Lady of Good Counsel in the Parish:

We seek to be a presence of Mary in the Parish and to share in the Parish her conviction and practice of True Devotion to Mary, and because true devotion to Mary involves apostleship, we as a praesidium of the Legion of Mary aim to make a significant contribution to promoting the lay apostolate in the Parish.
