STORY
Legion of Mary has provided temporary accommodation to homeless women in Belfast since 1935. Regina Coeli House is a refuge for homeless women, many of whom have a history of rough sleeping, alcohol and/or substance misuse and some who have suffered domestic violence.

Regina Coeli House supports females over the age of 18 who are homeless to prepare for independent living. There is no upper age limit on residents staying in the house. It offers accommodation for up to 21 guests; 10 single bedrooms, 5 shared bedrooms and 1 emergency bedroom. Also provided are 2 common-rooms and laundry facilities.

Legion of Mary seeks to address spiritual, temporal and support needs of guests within the tradition of apostolic social action. Permeating all the work is a determination to implement Gospel values and to be a friend to those in care.

An oratory is available where religious services are held of which all the guests are invited to attend if they so wish.
