24 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration

Friday 14 August, after the 7.00pm Vigil Mass — until Saturday 15 August

St Agnes’ Church, Andersonstown Road, Belfast

To honour the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, the Legion of Mary is keeping twenty-four hours before the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration begins after the 7.00pm Vigil Mass on Friday the 14th — which fulfils your holy day obligation — and continues right through the night and the following day, stopping for 1pm Mass on the feast itself and recommencing after it. Adoration concludes before the 6.30pm Vigil Mass on Saturday the 15th. Come and adore Jesus at any hour, and please pass the word on.

A time to be with Him. A time to be transformed. The Legion’s monthly evening of Eucharistic Adoration in Frank Duff House. Adoration commences at 7.00pm and ends at 10.00pm, with Richard Harrington leading the Holy Hour from 9.00pm to 10.00pm. “Could you not watch one hour with me?”

Founded on 7 September 1921 by the Servant of God Frank Duff, the Legion of Mary is an international association of the faithful who serve the Church on a voluntary basis. Under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, legionaries bring the light of Christ to the sick, the lonely, the imprisoned, and the fallen away.
