About This Praesidium

Established on Christmas Day 1938, Our Lady Morning Star Praesidium serves at the Morning Star Hostel in Belfast. The praesidium's purpose is to help members deepen their faith, their relationship with God and their devotion to Our Blessed Lady.

Morning Star Hostel is a facility serving men experiencing homelessness. Legionaries gather weekly for 90-minute meetings that include the recitation of the Rosary and Legion prayers, followed by a discussion of praesidium work.

Members are available to serve and provide companionship to hostel guests any night of the week.
