About This Praesidium

Our Lady Queen of Peace Praesidium gathers at Frank Duff House on Cliftonville Road in Belfast, associated with Saint Peter's Cathedral. The Legion's object involves the pursuit of holiness through prayer and active co-operation in Mary's and the Church's work.

Members focus on building up and strengthening a welcoming, dynamic, Christian community in the parish. The praesidium does not collect or distribute money or material relief, but instead focuses on spiritual works.

Members report having gained many friends, as their faith-based community grows, and emphasise surrounding themselves with those striving for holiness.

Activities & Apostolic Works

• Tuesday Rosary at St Peter's Cathedral at 7:00 PM
• Thursday Rosary at St Mary's Chapel Lane at 5:30 PM
• Door-to-door visitation distributing Divine Mercy images and Miraculous Medals
• Saturday outdoor stall at St Mary's Church, Chapel Lane (12:30-2:30 PM)
• Promoting sacramental life and reconciliation
• Distribution of miraculous medals, scapulars, and devotional literature
