About This Praesidium

Mary Mother of the Church Praesidium is based at the Church of St. Colman in Derriaghy Parish. The praesidium engages in a wide range of apostolic works across the Derriaghy and St. Anne's parishes.

Members carry out nursing home visitations, provide bereavement support to parishioners experiencing loss and isolation, and organise a weekly children's Rosary group with St. Colman's primary school students. Four Fatima statues are distributed to homes across parishes, fostering family prayer and devotion.

The praesidium also promotes the Rosary through resource stands in church porches and distributes Sacred Heart pictures to parish churches during the month of June.
