Our Lady of the Redeemer Praesidium
Clonard Monastery
Our Lady of the Redeemer Praesidium meets at Clonard Monastery, off the Falls Road in west Belfast, every Thursday morning at 10:30 AM in Parlour Room 3.
Legionaries work in pairs, following the apostolic model. The praesidium visits the nursing homes of the area, takes the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima into homes, goes home to home, and meets people through park and street contact. Members take their turn at the St Mary’s book stall each month and keep an hour before the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration.
The praesidium also promotes the weekly and summer Novenas to Our Lady of Perpetual Help — the devotion Clonard is known for — along with the Miraculous Medal and children’s Catholic DVDs on the Sacraments.
New members are always welcome. Come along to a meeting to see the work of the Legion at first hand.
